Industrial art weekend – a resounding success!!

May 15, 2007

Hopefully some of you readers had a chance to see the Boilerhouse last weekend – we had close to a thousand visitors over two days! Many talented people came together to share in this experience but curator Rod Paget should be singled out for applause for undertaking this huge endeavor – well done, Rod!

I opened up the house on Mother’s Day for an inpromptu exhibition of artwork – thanks to all who came (especially Karen). I met some really great people including some neighbours who I had seen but not known personally.

The big news this summer – I’ll be showing at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, July 6-8 at Nathan Phillips Square behind city hall in Toronto. I’ve been there plenty of times as a spectator and can attest to the amount of great art there – plan ahead to attend and if you do, come to booth #401 in the orange section and say “hi”!
